Schiene OÖ GmbH & Co KG (schiene-ooe.at), which is owned by the province of Upper Austria, is responsible for the planning, construction and operation of infrastructure for public transport.
To strengthen our team in the area of Infrastructure Operation & Administration, we are looking for a committed technical personality in the area of vehicle management/special projects. In this role, you will provide significant support in the handling of vehicle projects and play an active role in the further development of the railway environment.
You can expect these varied tasks with us:
- Collaboration in vehicle procurement projects from planning to commissioning, including approval, authorisation and acceptance procedures
- Coordinating project participants, suppliers, authorities and partners; maintaining project documentation and tracking deadlines and open points
- Ensuring the technical and operational compatibility of the vehicle and infrastructure in collaboration with the planning and operations departments
- Participation in technical assessments and system integration (vehicle - infrastructure - operation)
- Independent processing of defined work packages and special technical projects, including operational decisions in your own area of responsibility
- Identifying risks and optimisation potential and passing this on to project management
You have these skills:
- Completed technical studies (FH/university) or comparable technical qualification with a connection to the railway industry
- Several years of professional experience in a technical project environment, ideally in the railway, infrastructure or mobility sector
- Experience in handling technical projects - preferably in the area of vehicle procurement, approval or system integration
- Knowledge of vehicle technology, traction, safety technology or comparable railway technology fields is an advantage
- Basic understanding of relevant railway law and technical regulations is an advantage
- Experience with management systems (e.g. quality, safety or maintenance) desirable
- Structured, independent and solution-orientated way of working
- Technical understanding and interest in complex system interrelationships
- Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills in interdisciplinary coordination
- High level of initiative and willingness to develop professionally

Attractive remuneration: The gross monthly salary for this position is € 5,066.45 for 40 hours per week with relevant professional experience of at least 7 years in accordance with the collective agreement for railway companies, with the willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and experience.
