The mobility of tomorrow is one of the biggest issues of our time. In addition to the ongoing expansion of public passenger and freight transport, topics such as e-mobility, autonomous driving, digital mobility platforms and alternative mobility services such as car sharing, rental bikes, e-scooters and on-demand services are shaping current mobility strategy considerations. With the further development of the structure of OÖ Verkehrsholding in 2024, important decisions were made to make targeted use of synergies and thus successfully implement holistic concepts both regionally and supraregionally.
As an industry holding company, OÖ Verkehrsholding GmbH bundles, manages and is responsible for investments in companies in the fields of transport, mobility and transport infrastructure within OÖ Landesholding GmbH.
It acts in a group management capacity for the majority shareholdings. As managing partner, it directly manages the business of OÖ Verkehrsverbund-Organisations GmbH Nfg. & Co KG and Schiene OÖ GmbH & Co KG and provides management services for these two subsidiaries with its centrally organised shared service staff units and departments.
