OÖ Verkehrsverbund Gesellschaft organises and is responsible for public transport in Upper Austria. As part of this company, you will deal with issues that have a sustainable impact on the mobility of the population, the transport situation and environmental protection. You will strengthen the service planning and regional support department.
Your tasks in this varied position:
- Planning & transport: planning, operational support and further development of regional bus and rail transport, coordination of deviations and special transport (roadworks, events, etc.)
- Analysis & evaluation: Analysing and interpreting relevant data (e.g. real-time data from the control system, passenger counts)
- Data management: Professional maintenance and input of timetable data into our planning systems (primarily DIVA)
- Authority management: Preparation of the necessary licence documents for the motorway authority
- Stakeholder management: Close coordination of planning with our partners (in particular transport companies, municipalities and the province of Upper Austria)
- Interdisciplinary cooperation: Supporting the regional support and marketing departments in communicating timetable changes and new services
You have these skills:
- Completed education at Matura level, relevant university degree and/or relevant professional experience is an advantage (transport, civil engineering, spatial planning, geography or similar)
- Good knowledge of the transport geography of Upper Austria
- Knowledge of transport planning is an advantage
- Enthusiasm for sustainable mobility and public transport
- Independent and meticulous way of working as well as accuracy, sense of responsibility and helpfulness
- Strong communication skills, team spirit and a friendly, open demeanour as well as the ability to deal with conflict and work under pressure
- Willingness to travel (mainly limited to Upper Austria)
- Good computer and IT skills, knowledge of transport planning software an advantage
- Willingness for further training
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken German

- Attractive remuneration: The gross monthly salary is calculated according to a transparent categorisation model that takes into account specialist training and relevant professional experience. The reference value for this position is approximately € 3,250.00 gross (based on 40 hours per week, academic education, entry level without previous professional experience). There is a willingness to overpay, depending on qualifications and experience.
